This is done through a mixing tube, which allows the abrasive particles to mix with the water stream. When the high-pressure water (or water-abrasive mixture) hits the material, it erodes the material's surface, creating a cut. The jet cuts through the material by forcing the water and abrasive particles into the material’s surface, breaking it down layer by layer. The nozzle moves across the material, following a predetermined cutting path, often controlled by CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programming, which ensures high accuracy and intricate designs.
